It is not a tradition. It is not a culmination of the festive season.

It is when we acknowledge the coming of a Saviour – Yeshua Hamashiach,

Who came to earth to model the life that God wanted to live with us.

Ultimately, to die in our place since our blood or that of any animal could not eternally atone for our wickedness

nor restore our relationship with God.

His coming to earth was less than glamorous.

But His reception from the Wisemen, the shepherds and the choir of angels

eternally marked the uniqueness of His Kingdom and reign.

The night He was born, no one had room to accommodate Him accept for

animals in a stable.  The sight they witnessed that night – none can ever compare.

So they worshipped Him.

This Christmas, will you chase Him away or will you give Him room?
